Fire Health & Safety

French Dining School strives to meet the highest standards under  health & safety.
In this regard our cooking techniques and kitchen comply with all culinary safety requirements.

 

All customers are inducted in health & safety during their first day of induction. 

 

No children are allowed on the course and young persons between 15 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent. 
 

The consumption of alcohol on the premises is strictly controlled so that participants enjoy their dining experience. Excess alcohol consumption is not authorised on the premises.
 

Fire Safety regulation as instructed during induction must be complied with at all times.

 

Delivery Policy

Upon successful payment, French Dining School will undertake to confirm receipt  of payment and promises to provide the customer with a full week of cooking school as per the schedule advertised and at the premises agreed (12 Kerrouet House, Le Mene, 22330 Bretagne France. Participants are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrival may result
in partial loss of participation without refund. Participants are expected to be civil to each other and follow the instructions of the Chef at all times. Gift Vouchers once paid for will be delivered either by post or email within 24 hours as requested.

 

Force Majeure
We are not liable for delivery constraints caused by severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or supply chain disruptions including power failure. In all such cases we will try to continue with our courses in a safe and reasonable way.

Payment

A minimum of 10% of total course fees is normally required at time of reservation and is fully refundable subject to our administration fee of E50. The full balance is due 60 days before arrival. We accept bank transfers via Wise Bank (a link will be sent on request ) as well as cheques in Euros, Pounds, Danish Krone and Paypal.  

 

Prices are correct as printed but subject to change. The school reserves the right to alter its programs or change accommodations as necessary.

 

Cancellation

Full Refund minus E50 admin fee per person applies where written notice of cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the course. No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 60 days prior to date of arrival but vouchers may be issued as appropriate. Once the week has commenced there will be no refunds on unused

portions. Cancellations due to medical reasons should be covered by travel insurance.

 

Due to the fact that we restrict our courses to no more than eight participants we strictly adhere to this cancellation policy. We therefore recommend all our clients to take full travel insurance to cover the risk of any cancellation.

 

French Dining School will seek to adhere to client wishes in respect to specific catering requirements but cannot accept liability for specific client food allergies. Clients must inform French Dining School of any known food allergies before commencing on a course.

Kerrouet House is a 16th century longere and we regret we do not have any wheelchair access on our property. There are three steps up to the front door and three steps down into the kitchen. All classes are in English, German or Danish as advertised.

 

Lunch and Dinner and all wines and soft drinks are included on the five day cooking course at Kerrouet House but lunch on market days is not included unless specifically agreed in advance with us. The five day cooking course is inclusive of all recipes, notes and graduation certificates.

 

Non-participating guests may join the dining table for lunch or dinner for a nominal fee, if space is available but advanced notice is required. If you hire a gite please leave it as you find it unless a cleaning fee has been paid in advance.
