Lamballe - Our local food market !

Our local food market is in Lamballe a short drive from the cooking school. We often take our students there on Thursday morning so that they can walk about the market as they like and feel the wonderful passion the locals have for their seafoods, fish, vegetables and cheeses. This is a market for locals so do ask in advance if you wish to take photos. Once asked, the local stall holders will burst into a friendly smile especially if you have a few opening words in French!

You will need a few hours to wander around the market and look out for Bisou Salé or Salty Kiss - a stall selling a wonderful selection of peppers by Vanessa. More info on her products can be found here: www.epicesbisou.fr

We recommend that you pick up a galette sausage from a stall. Don’t worry if there is a queue as that just proves it’s good one! It’s fast food Breton style and buckwheat galettes are so very tasty!
